A scenic road takes you from beach to beach, from hill to hill, as the landscape changes continuously, in every corner there is another gorgeous view. This is the amazing southern coast of the Pylia peninsula in Messinia.

Finikounda is a tranquil joy, and still retains the air of a quiet fishing village, even in midsummer. The narrow paved lane running parallel to the main beach is flanked by a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants and gift shops. At the western end of the beach is a picturesque harbour with fishing boats gently bobbing up and down.
